| Description
Scope of application:
A battery protection box is a specialized safety device designed for battery testing. Its primary purpose is to effectively isolate and control potential hazards—such as combustion or explosions—that may occur during overcharging, deep discharging, forced discharge, and other safety performance tests. This ensures the safety of operators, equipment, and the surrounding environment. The box incorporates multiple safety features, including a robust steel structure, explosion-proof chains, an explosion-resistant observation window, pressure relief mechanisms, a smoke extraction system, and intelligent monitoring, all working together to minimize risks even under extreme testing conditions.
Structural features:
Outer enclosure: Standard equipped with threaded test holes—two on the left side.
The enclosure features a carefully selected, thickened cold-rolled steel base material, finished with an electrostatic powder-coating process that creates a dense protective layer on the surface—durable, robust, and boasting exceptional rust-resistant performance.
Protective Door: The cabinet door features reinforced hinges and is equipped with an explosion-proof chain.
Pressure relief device: The top of the enclosure features a dedicated pressure relief vent.
Workshop: The inner liner is made of SUS304 stainless steel and features a mirror-polished finish.
Separator board: A partition designed to hold batteries in place, crafted using a special process tailored to battery characteristics for convenient and easy use.
Explosion-Proof
Control Panel: Equipped with a microcomputer-based intelligent LCD temperature controller featuring high precision, zero overshoot, and multi-set data displayed on a single screen. It also includes temperature correction and timing functions.
Temperature Control: Features automatic heating and cooling functionality, equipped with highly sensitive sensors to ensure stable, continuous operation.
Air Duct: A dual-airduct forced-convection ventilation system that enhances temperature response speed, improves thermal uniformity, and minimizes temperature fluctuations.
Alarm System: If smoke or fire occurs inside during an experiment, the system will activate both audible and visual alarms and automatically cut off the power supply.
Safety systems: Leakage protection, auxiliary temperature control, and equipped with an RS485 communication interface.
